New year!

Hey guys!
It has been absolutely forever since I've blogged. I am such a lagger when it comes to this stuff.
I have been EXTREMELY busy!
With life + wedding planning. But for the new year One of my resolutions was to keep up with my blog + my YouTube channel.
I am about to take an entirely different journey than I have been used to my whole 20 years of life, I'm getting married + moving to a whole different city.

So I'm going to document my journey through blog + videos.

Here are a couple of things that have happened recently.

1. We got our marriage license!!

2. We picked out our flowers. Aren't they gorgeous.

3. We paid off our honeymoon!

There's sooo much more that has gone on but those are the only ones I can share for now.

More blogs are coming soon, I promise!

Leave me comments + suggestions down below!

Much love,
Allie

Pop of red.

You know those days when you wake up late and you have no idea what to wear? Yeaaa.. That was exactly my situation this morning!
I panic when I don't know what to wear lol! But since I've had a couple of those late wake up days I've pretty much have picked up some tips on how to get ready.

Tip #1, start of with a basic, whether it be a dress, shirt, skirts, jacket in a solid color preferably.

Tip # 2, work around that basic. Begin to add pops of color or prints and accessories!

So this morning I started off with an asymmetrical black maxi skirt. I used just a plain white tank as a top and the pop of color I chose was my leather and sheer sleeved cropped jacket.

I worked with just solids today. As for my shoes I paired it with these cute black wedges that my fiancé bought me:)
He'a the best, he buys me the coolest shoes lol.

Sooo.. That was my #ootd:)

Pop of print.

Hi lovelies!
I haven't blogged in forever! I get a slightly bit lazy towards the end of the year and slack off.( really bad i know) well..one of my many New Years resolutions was to blog more. I love blogging, writing, and fashion. So I'm trying my best to keep up with this thing.
A lot has happened since I last wrote. I'm starting my 3rd year of college, so crazy lol. Aaaaand... IM ENGAGED! I honestly still can't believe it! I'm super excited and so happy I get to start a future with the love of my life:)
(I'm such a lucky girl ;) he's so handsome. )

Ok enough about me...
Today's #ootd consisted of all black and pops of color and print. For my outfit, I started off with a basic which is this a-line dress, it's my new fave! I added a pop of leopard and a hot pink belt. Kind of reminds me of a betsey Johnson bag.
See those gorgeous boots! I've been wanting a pair of high combat boots and my amazing fiancé bought me these! (Told you I was lucky, lol) they are so beautiful and comfy and I'm completely in love with them.

Thrifted threads

I
hello lovelies!
Its been ages since ive blogged! Ive been busy to the extreme but blogging always releases my stress and calms me down just a tad.
recently ive re-encountered my love for thrifts/ consignment shops! Ive managed to find a few of my favorite spots! One is actually a record store! But theyve incorporated a handful of vingage clothing and accesories also! Which is so Rad! The entire store is so cool!

Well... What i thrifted from there is this BEAUtiful scalloped flowy a-line skirt! It is incredible! The scallops have such beautiful detail, gorgeous cutouts and embriodery!
I also purchases these platforms at another consignment! They are the most comfiest shoes ever! I'm the type of girl who'd rather be in platforms than flats. They're a straight 2 inch platform with belt like straps! So Gorg and such a steal!
Everything is so boho and airy which I love!

So I def reccomend looking at thrift stores this time around the year! Check out consignments and your bound to find amazing pieces!

The shirt is from Kmart! I rarely ever shop at superstores like that but recently have been finding some amazing staple pieces. I love superstores for staple pieces! This one is a long stripe button up. I paired it with the skirt to add a pattern that will go along with the plain white skirt.
I also added a mint colored belt for a Pop of color and shape

Ootd

Recently I've been trying to refrain myself from wearing black, as you can tell... It ain't working. LOL! It's sooo hard.
Anyways, today I'm just shopping and this is a just a typical everyday outfit.
Today I based my outfit around my hat from Forever 21. Recently I've seen so many cute hats at forever 21. I literally have an obsession with hats & it was so hard not to buy every hat they had. Anyway, I paired it with my "broke" tee from Forever 21 as well to go along with the black and white theme. I guess I needed a tiny pop of color, so I paired it with this blue denim jacket. I'm not a huge fan of colors, but I'm trying to incorporate colors into my outfits, the process is very slow but I'm getting there lol.
Like always, I went with all black for the bottom. Black skirt & riding boots from.. You guessed it, Forever 21. "Forever 21 made me broke" is the caption of my life. Also the bag, is from Forever 21. I just can't get enough of F21.

Oh so, Sunday best

Today's my pastors anniversary. 14 years pastoring in London! Yay! So since today was so special, I decided to dress up a bit. But then again I tend to over dress everyday. Anyways, I went with a bold leaopard print dress that I recently purchased from Forever 21.
A tip to all pentecostal girls, when a dress isn't the modest length then, add a skirt under! It instantly adds length and dimension to your outfit. I went with all black and a pop of red in my shoes.
My clutch is thrifted! I always find the best clutches at thrift stores! My skirt is from forever 21. Ok let me just take a moment and say that these cotton midi skirts from forever 21 are the best! They're so comfy. Being a skirt girl, I haven't worn a jean Skirt in over a year because these are so comfy! I literally bought every color and I'm never going back to jean! Haha ok maybe I will one day but for now I love these cotton ones.
This dress is so bold, I neutralized it with black but if you do I always say Add a pop of color.
So that's my Sunday best. Yay! Have a great day, god bless ♡

Oh so, #ootd school edition♡

Hi lovely's ♡
This is my school #ootd. If you know me then you know that I wear this flannels on my lazy days. Fannels are my favorite shirts to wear when I don't really feel like dressing up. And I pair it with neutrals, the usual.
So a couple of days ago I bought this long comfy knit cardigan. It's sooooo comfy! Since I'm short it appears to 'be really long but when my sister tried it on it was the perfect length. Even though I look like I'm drowning in this cardigan, I like the laid back look it gives to my outfits.
I just paired both these pieces with a black pencil skirt, tights, and my tan coach bag.

I won't go into detail because literally everything I am wearing is from forever 21, except my bag. My bag is from coach. Coach has the perfect bags for school!
Have a great day lovelies, god bless♡
